Summary of HR/Billing Coordinator
Keeps official personnel records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
  • Process new hire and separation documentation.
  • Oversee regional safety program.
  • Attend monthly HR conference calls hosted by Corporate Office.
  • Act as custodian of personnel files, maintaining when necessary and updating expired information, such as, automobile insurance, driver’s license, professional licenses, CPR/First Aid, I-9, etc.
  • Prepare timesheets to be sent to corporate office.
  • Track employee performance evaluations/reviews.
  • Prepare new employees paperwork for orientation and facilitate orientation for new employees.
  • Screen and back-up incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
  • Prepares memorandum outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to supervisory workers, and monitors compliance.
  • Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
  • Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Any other job related duties as may be assigned by the Regional Director and/or Deputy Director.
Summary of Billing Coordinator
The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for processing and organizing billing for all programs within their assigned region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
Manage and process all billing documentation, summaries and other information that is necessary for communication with the Remi Vista Accounting Department as well as with county officials.
  • Maintain and update internal tracking systems and databases for Mental Health, Regional Center, Adoptions, Foster Care, WRAP, Respite and other programs.
  • Perform data entry with close attention to detail.
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining billing documents review & billing tracking.
  • Work closely with Supervisors of all programs and Mental Health Therapists to generate accurate billing information.
  • Any other job related duties as may be assigned by the Regional Director and/or Deputy Director.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Two years of relevant experience in Medical Billing and Human Resources, behavioral health preferred.
Two years of ICD-10 knowledge experience and utilization of codes. Working understanding of Claims Collections, Claims Denials and Claims follow up. Two years of Human Resources experience or a related field. An understanding of the workings of employee benefit programs, including 401K, health insurance, and flexible benefit programs is required. A working knowledge of personnel record requirements and the hiring and termination process is required.
The employee must have experience working in an EMR system, Millennial software preferred. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word word-processing software, including the ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute accurately is required. The ability to create, use, and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel or other applicable software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Possess valid California Driver's License and remain insurable under the company's current insurance carrier.
