What you will do :
You'll help manage inventory turns and ensure that all items are appropriately stocked.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in maintaining targeted par levels for various pharmacy items, including bulk oral solids, injectable medications, liquids, creams, and more.
- Place daily orders with vendors to ensure product availability.
- Conduct audit counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify local alternative sources for products when items are backordered.
- Receive daily orders from wholesalers or suppliers and stock accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Supervisor on brand-to-generic conversions.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
What you will bring :
- High School graduate or equivalent; certification desired.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology, math, and analytical skills.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a long-term care pharmacy or as a pharmacy technician in a retail environment.
- Experience with alpha-numeric data entry preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Customer service-focused mindset.
