Driving Home Care Aides Needed - 30 hrs / wk - PCA, HHA, CNA

We're looking for Roaming Home Care Aides to join our team. Local travel in Schenectady - visit multiple clients per shift - and get paid for travel time in between clients!

Job Opening : Roaming Home Care Aide - certified PCA, HHA, or CNA

Branch : Schenectady, NY

Job Location(s) : Schenectady NY and surrounding areas

Available Shifts : about 30 hours a week (or more), 2-3 hours per client, may see 2-4 clients per shift (exact shift times will be determined - but primarily daytime, weekdays only)

Enhanced rates offered for Roaming Home Care Aides, up to $15 per hour.

Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for this type of work - this is not optional. For Roaming Home Care Aides, travel from case to case is required, and depending on care plan, you may need to shop or run errands for clients or take them to appointments.

Job Duties : *Your day might include : * providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals;

tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule. Other care may be needed to keep them safe.

Requirements :

• Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA, with valid certificate
• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs - ask us how!
• Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
• Will be subject to a background check as part of the hiring process
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required - you must be able to drive from client to client, this is not optional.
• Must be 18 or older
