RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking multiple, qualified carpenters for work to be performed in the Orlando and surrounding areas with regard to hurricane disaster response. The Carpenter will work doing various carpentry-based activities from basic framing to finish work on stick built, red iron and post frame construction.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
• Help erect, level, and install building framework
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1-year experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
• The ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to work in high pressure situations and projects with tight deadlines
• Ability to work with various materials on the worksite in a knowledgeable fashion
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a federal background check
• Ability to acquire and maintain base access (if applicable)
