Title - Paralegal/Office Manager

Location: Our corporate office in Schaumburg, Illinois

Years of Experience: 3 years of Paralegal Experience in a corporate setting

Job Type: Full-time / Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm

We partner with clients on a wide variety of outsourcing needs, such as project management, IT, account management, and more. Current and previous clients include Marriott, Carnegie Mellon University, the State of Illinois, and many more.

Paralegal/Office Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison between outside counsel, upper management, project managers, customers, and vendors
  • Work with our outside counsel on negotiating terms and conditions and long-term agreements with customers and vendors.
  • Work with our outside counsel on other legal agreements as necessary.
  • Creating an office budget and ensuring all employees follow it.
  • Dealing with correspondence, complaints, and queries.
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances, and electronics as required.
  • Training new office employees and organizing their employment paperwork.
  • Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order.
  • Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures.
  • Help HR with hiring, onboarding and orientation for new hires and termination.
  • Preparing letters, presentations, contracts, queries, and loan applications.
  • Create and maintain files for active agreements and ensure proper renewals prior to expiration.
  • Auditing and compliance
  • Monitoring daily expenses in the office and providing the report for approvals.
  • Executive Project management duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,619.57 - $55,000.00 per year
