Job Summary The Medical Assistant must represent the RELIVE brand and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Medical Assistant role requires patient care regarding hormone replacement therapy and blood work as well as doing administrative duties.
Responsibilities
  • Perform blood draws as per the required instructions provided by the lab.
  • Follow state guidelines and standards
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying principles of medical asepsis and infection control techniques and universal precautions
  • Liaise with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy and participate in shared decision making
  • Accurately use the online booking systems
  • Assist with callbacks to patients with questions.
  • Provided documentation to the Admin team for submission to EHR
  • Prepare and track inventory to maintain 100% in stock of supplies
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Completes other tasks within the scope of the medical assistant including administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate attitude and dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Critical thinking, compassionate, non-judgmental, with attention to detail, and organized. Calm under pressure and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Needs to be a patient listener, a good communicator, and demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources.
