Job Description:

As a Chargeback Analyst, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving chargeback disputes from customers. You will work closely with various departments, including finance, customer service, and sales, to gather necessary documentation and ensure timely resolution. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate Chargebacks: Review and analyze chargeback claims, identify the root causes, and gather supporting documentation to dispute invalid chargebacks.

- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of all chargeback cases, including supporting documents, correspondence, and resolution outcomes.

- Collaborate with Departments:Work closely with the finance, customer service, and sales teams to collect necessary information and ensure a smooth resolution process.

- Monitor Trends: Identify patterns and trends in chargeback claims to proactively address potential issues and improve processes.

- Process Improvement:Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce the incidence of chargebacks and enhance the efficiency of the resolution process.

- Compliance:Ensure all chargeback activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and payment processor requirements.

- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers and financial institutions regarding chargeback status and resolution.

Qualifications:

- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in chargeback management, financial analysis, or a related role.

- Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with payment processing systems and chargeback regulations is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $66,032.00 per year
