Reliable Temps is Hiring an Extruder Operator Near Athol, MA
Athol plastics manufacturer, specializing in medical tubing and fence enhancement products, is seeking a full time experienced extrusion operator to join their team on 2nd and 3rd shift!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strictly adheres to Company and Plant safety policies and procedures.
Break down, clean and set up on all dies and restart extruders with no supervision.
Operate an extrusion line without assistance.
Minimize the amount of set up time for a particular job
Troubleshoots downstream equipment problems.
Produces parts from more than one material.
Prepares lines for production.
Checks line activity sheets, key dimension sheets and reads shop orders.
Produce parts that meet the quality specification at or above specified rate.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality throughout the entire part run.
Operate two or more lines.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
Trains or assists in the training of other operators.
Manages materials and minimizes waste.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have worked in the extrusion department and have good working knowledge of the extrusion process and materials
