A Customer Service Representative is needed in the Turners Falls area! This is a temporary position that will run until April 2023.

Duties:

• Enter incoming purchase orders that arrive by email, fax or EDI, which includes information such as ship date, company, location, payment methods, product details, product quantity and other information as needed
• Issue credits to purchasers as needed for product errors or shipment delays
• File claims with shipping companies for packages damaged in transit
• Coordinate with accounting department and Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to resolve and track customer complaints
• Answer phone calls and emails from potential and existing customers
• Respond to customer requests and provide information such as tracking numbers, shipment status, tool specifications, sales quotes, pricing figures, catalog shipments, lead times and sales representative information

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to multitask and establish priorities on-the-go
• Willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
• Excellent people skills and a pleasant demeanor
• Proficient with computers, especially MS Excel
• Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Written and verbal English communication skills
• Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals
• Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adherence to attendance policy

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer Service Rep: 1 year (Preferred)
