Lead Functional Consultant - Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll

Job Description:

As the Lead Functional Consultant for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, your primary responsibility is to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to meet clients' business needs using Oracle Cloud applications. This role requires strong leadership skills to effectively guide a team throughout the implementation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to analyze business requirements and devise end-to-end solutions utilizing Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and release management of Oracle Cloud HCM applications.
  • Address functional and technical issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Actively participate in Oracle technology communities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience (12-15 years) in end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll.
  • Demonstrated involvement in at least three full implementation projects related to Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll.
  • Preferably possess expertise in HR with Benefits, Time and Labor, Absence Management, and Fast Formula with multi-Org experience.
  • Lead workshops covering various stages of the implementation process, utilizing Agile methodology.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a cross-functional team based in both the US and India.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and adaptability.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English communication.
  • Conduct workshops to advise clients on best practices for solution adoption.
  • Configure the system to align with business requirements and design specifications.
  • Present solution designs in playback sessions.
  • Prepare documentation and workbooks to support system design.
  • Foster trust with clients and manage delivery expectations within project scope.
  • Transfer product knowledge to the project team and client through knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Demonstrate commitment to task completion and ensure thorough testing of solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Expertise: Minimum 12-15 years of comprehensive experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, demonstrating proficiency in end-to-end implementation.
Project Management: Proven track record of leading multiple full implementation projects in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, showcasing strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Oracle Cloud Applications: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud applications, including HR with Benefits, Time and Labor, Absence Management, and Fast Formula, with a preference for multi-Org experience.
Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to effectively lead workshops, guide cross-functional teams, and manage client relationships throughout the implementation process.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile environments, adapting to changing project requirements and timelines while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Configuration Expertise: Proficiency in configuring Oracle Cloud applications to align with business requirements and design specifications, ensuring optimal system performance.
Quality Assurance: Commitment to excellence and thoroughness, ensuring rigorous testing of solutions to deliver high-quality outcomes within project scope.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork mentality, essential for thriving in a collaborative work environment and contributing to team success.
Knowledge Transfer: Proven ability to transfer product knowledge to project teams and clients through effective knowledge transfer sessions, enabling ongoing success and adoption of implemented solutions.
