Currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead Foreman of Installers and Movers for our staging company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our operations, including team leadership, communication with designers/installers, warehouse organization, logistics coordination, and hands-on participation in the day to day operations. You will be an essential part of the staging team by loading and unloading furniture to client sites as well as being the lead driver to location sites as needed. This position demands strong managerial skills, attention to detail, and the ability to easily keep up with many moving parts in an ever changing environment. Professionalism is fundamental to our success with our clients and close knit team. Applicants should live in the greater Los Angeles area. Commutes are time intensive and schedules/timelines in staging are not flexible. Prior staging experience is required.

Team Leadership:

• Train, lead, and supervise staging team members.
• Oversee and coordinate tasks to ensure efficiency and quality in staging projects.
• Communicate goals and expectations through regular team meetings.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate and oversee breaks for team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Assist in planning and executing logistics for multiple staging projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate setup and breakdown of staging elements at each location.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements/expectations and execute staging plans effectively.
• Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear instructions and feedback.

Warehouse Organization:

• Maintain an organized warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of staging materials.
• Conduct regular inventory checks.

Truck Driver:

• Drive company vehicle(s) with capabilities to transport/pickup materials to and from specified destinations.
• Deliver staging materials safely and timely, without damage.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicle.

Hands-on Participation:

• Actively participate in moving and arranging furniture during staging projects.
• Load company vehicle(s) and deliver staging furniture decor by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions deliver staging materials safely and punctually.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to project success.

Availability:

• Work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend availability for special projects.

Qualifications:

• Previous managerial/leadership experience is required.
• Previous experience in staging is required.
• Previous experience in driving at minimum a 20' Box Truck.
• Basic knowledge of English for effective communication.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a box truck.
• Excellent driving record (must provide DMV printout, No Accidents, No DUI’s).
• Responsible, communicative, and professional demeanor.
• Must maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities, repetitively.
• Lift heavy items (up to 60 pounds).
• Bending, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs and inclines.
• Must know how to properly pack a truck. 
• Ability to lift and move furniture as needed.
