Responsibilities for Auto Technician:

• We are looking for an outstanding auto technician
• Inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as tune-ups, oil changes, changing filters, hoses, fluids, brakes and shocks; listening to operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions and replacing parts and components as necessary
• Running a computer diagnosis and knowing how to translate that information into a plan of repair is a must
• They will be tasked with verifying vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming for maximum reliability and functionality

Qualifications for Auto Technician:

• We are a full service shop: we do everything from oil changes to engine changes.
• Our employees must be well versed in mechanical and/or electronic systems of vehicles and have excellent problem solving abilities
Good communicators
• - both with customers and the rest of the in-shop team.
• We prefer an ASE-certified technician, but a good candidate with a long history of solid work might be a good fit as well
• We will pay for ASE testing (to become certified or to renew certification) for any employee
• While employed here, the employee will be expected to update their job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities as they arise (these will be available to the employee at no cost).
• Tools are required, as is being able to physically do the work (lifting, bending, working the heavy and light machinery), and a willingness to manage time and being a dependable employee.
