Title: Branch Manager

Location: Watertown SW

Supervises: Client Services & Tellers

Position Summary: Reliabank is looking for Branch Manager to direct the operations of the Watertown Southwest branch to ensure all bank and regulatory policies and procedures are followed, clients receive prompt and courteous service, and products and services offered meet the needs of the client base . The position will perform a full range of consumer banking services to individual customers, with emphasis on consumer deposit and fee-based services. Supervisory duties include, but are not limited to the following: staffing, scheduling, and training. Job activities should be of a quality nature that will result in short- and long-term profitability and ensures that business is conducted in a manner compatible with the bank’s mission and core values.

Primary Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Branch Administration

  • Responsible for the daily administration and supervision of all operations and activities at the branch office. Ensure that all activities of the branch are in compliance to the bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the care of bank facility.

Supervise Staff at the Southwest Watertown Branch

  • Supervise teller and customer service staff at the Watertown location. Conduct on-the-job training as needed. Establish goals and objectives to complement bank strategic goals.

Sales

  • Responsible for generating new customer volume for the bank. This will include soliciting new business relationships and deepening relationships with existing customers and well as providing a high level of customer service. This includes DDA accounts, as well as other liability products the bank offers.

Perform Transactions

  • Conduct a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, certified checks, cashier checks, money orders, savings bonds, travelers’ checks, and/ or loan transactions, certificates of deposit. Open new accounts. Perform services in accordance with bank standards, policies and procedures regarding document inspection, signature and amount verification, etc. Greet and assist new and existing clients as they enter the bank. Answer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate individual or department as needed.

Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 4-6 years general bank experience.
  • Ability to initiate and embrace change.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of consumer compliance issues and regulations.
  • Ability to sit/stand for lengthy periods.
  • Ability to deal with customers and staff under circumstances requiring tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer account information; follows established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests. 
  • Monitor compliance to ensure the processing and handling of information is done in a manner that adheres to FDIC regulations and consumer protection issues.
