About Relentless Beats Born from the desire of founder Thomas Turner to bring underground music to Arizona, Relentless Beats has climbed the ranks to be recognized as one of the Southwest's most prolific independent promoters. From club shows to music festivals, Relentless Beats now produces over 400 events a year, featuring close to 500 unique artists in states that include Arizona, New Mexico, Hawaii, and Texas. Marquee events include Goldrush Music Festival, PHXLIGHTS, Body Language, DUSK, Decadence AZ, and several concert series featuring some of the globe's biggest acts. About the Production Director Position The Production Director is the most senior position in the Production Department and is responsible for managing all aspects of the department's operations including advances, operations, and settlements in addition to equipment procurement, budgeting, and appropriate staffing. This key leadership position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, strong management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Job Responsibilities
Manage, advance, and oversee both Production and Artist Relations operatoins for all events
Scheduling Production Managers as needed to act as a primary point of contact for all acts performing on a given stage or event
Ensure team members properly document show expenses and settlements
Maintain accurate vendor records, following all procurement procedures
Evaluate procedures; ensure all procedures are cost effective
Soliciting stage designs and maintaining communication with the stage designer
Soliciting production quotes for the given design for sound, video, lights, and special effects and maintaining a given budget
Advance technical details with artists and vendors
Advance food and beverage/hospitality requirements
Coordinate riders, shops, transports with the Artist Relations team
Ensure information is distributed to vendors and support staff on a timely basis
Assist in managing stage, sound, and lighting crews
Coordinate operational feedback with Talent Buyers
Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
Assist and support other production department team members with job functions as needed
Creates load in, show, and load out schedules for the event
Scheduling appropriate number of production staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelines for the stage
Advancing vendor and staff needs including but not limited to hotels, meals and radio needs
Maintain regular communications with Production Managers and Executive teams

Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Seven (7) plus years of work experience in entertainment production in management positions.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
Work Location & Hours This full-time position is primarily an in-office position in our downtown Phoenix corporate office. Regular travel to shows and events sites is required. Evening and weekend work is required. . Physical Requirements
May experience a wide range of temperature climates on job sites, including extreme outdoor heat and cool temperatures.
Ability to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
Ascending/descending stairs.
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing. or sitting for prolonged periods.
