ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Fire Alarm Parts Runner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our field technicians by ensuring that they have the necessary parts and equipment to complete their service calls efficiently. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and delivering parts to job sites as needed. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

· Coordinate with warehouse manager / project manager / service manager for parts deliveries to the field technicians.

· Assure parts being delivered are in working order and not damaged

· Keep detailed records of parts transactions, including receipts, invoices, and delivery confirmations.

· Maintain open communication with field technicians, supervisors, and suppliers to ensure smooth coordination of parts delivery and distribution and coordination of testing sites and schedule.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling and transporting parts and equipment, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

· Assist field technicians’ testing equipment in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

· Knowledge of fire alarm systems and components is a plus.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.

· Proficiency with computer systems and software for inventory management and record-keeping.
