Relativity Architects is a progressive, diverse and energetic Architecture, Design and Project Management Studio based in Los Angeles with new locations in Colorado and Spain. We are looking for a full-time Project Architect to join our growing and fast-paced team. Project Architects are the leaders of developing architectural plans and will work hand-in-hand with Project Managers and the design team to create exceptional projects. A Project Architect should have extensive knowledge of the building process, from conceptual design through construction, and be able to apply architectural principles, practices, and techniques consistently and with exploratory drive. The ideal candidate can work independently and collaboratively, with a passion for craft and an eye for detail. We are looking for someone that thrives in the multi-dimensional, problem-solving environment of our industry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to produce Architectural Drawing Sets
- Responsible for Consultant drawing and design coordination
- Building and Interiors Design
- Architectural Team Coordination
- Drafting and Rendering Production
- Presentation and Documentation Production
- Construction Administration
- Code Research & Standards Compliance
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture
- License required
- 8-10 years of experience
- Software Experience to include AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
- BIM experience required; ArchiCAD expertise is preferred
- Ability to work both independently and in teams
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detailed and technical drafting skills
- Experience with project specifications
- A strong eye for design sensibilities
- Strong presentation graphics
- Varied experience with a desire to learn
- Knowledge of agency processing and code compliance
- Knowledge of construction techniques and engineering systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent time and task management abilities
