Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing drywall
- Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces
- Use airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth and even finishes
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter in residential or commercial settings
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in painting
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for color and design
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Skills: Drywall, Remodeling, Carpentry (Trim carpentry), Airless paint spraying, Power tools, Restoration. Adaptability, problem solving with a cool head.
