Collections Customer Service Specialist

Our Collections/Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing a full range of credit and collections support for our US customer base. At Reiser, we view our Collection Specialists as an extension of our Customer Service department with a goal to not only collect on amounts due, but to also ensure that Reiser customers are properly serviced. Day to day tasks include researching, analyzing, detecting, and resolving issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Make regular collection calls
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Resolve cash application discrepancies
  • Research product return problems
  • Resolve customer issues related to billing
  • Regularly interact with Regional Manager and sales representatives regarding the status of customers' accounts.
  • Timely identify paid machines and ensure that customer and machine files are properly updated

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Associates degree in business related field preferred but not necessary
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior collections experience is preferred
  • Experience with Ariba and other similar portals is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Spanish Speaking is a plus
