Job Description:

We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be positive, hardworking, motivated, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. They should possess strong organizational skills, maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workplace, and be patient-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional service. Additionally, candidates should be tech-savvy, have experience working in an electronic medical system, and be capable of performing phlebotomy and processing labs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records while using our electronic medical system.
• Draw labs and prepare specimens for processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols. Being adaptable to workplace policies and new programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including exam rooms and common areas.
• Interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and support while addressing their concerns.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow professionally, seeking opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
• Uphold HIPPA, patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) from an accredited program or 5 years experience in the medical field.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Patient-oriented mindset, with a genuine desire to help others and provide exceptional patient care.
• Tech-savvy with experience working in an electronic medical system. Ability to type proficiently.
• Capable of drawing labs and processing specimens with accuracy and precision.
