Description

The Irrigation Products Sales Associate provides technical support, system design support and sales training to the company’s irrigation dealerships.

Requires a high degree of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Analytical effort, initiative, judgment, reasoning, and problem solving are necessary attributes for a candidate to be successful in this position. A very thorough knowledge and understanding of center pivot irrigation systems and hydraulic principles is desired but will train the right candidate.

Four or more years direct work experience in an agriculture business is preferred. Those with experience in the mechanized irrigation industry, preferably the center pivot and lateral move industry, military service or college credits will receive special consideration. Some experience in technical fields such as engineering or manufacturing is also beneficial.

An Irrigation Association “Certified Irrigation Designer – Agriculture” accreditation is vital. If the candidate does not have this qualification, it will be paid for by the company and is required within 18 months of employment.

Initial compensation package will be based on candidates abilities and qualifications.
