Summary:

Body Shop Estimators have a vast list of responsibilities within the Body Shop. Some of those responsibilities include writing repair estimates, interacting with customers and insurance companies, working with technicians and the Body Shop Manager to keep a steady workflow in the shop.

Reports To: Body Shop Manager

Job Duties:

· Accurately write up quotes for damaged vehicles while working with the Body Shop Manager and technicians to schedule work.

· Give excellent customer service to customers and insurance companies when providing estimates for damaged vehicles.

· Develop a proper repair plan for each vehicle. Work with insurance companies, body shop technicians, and the body shop manager to ensure an efficient flow of obtainable work.

· Assist and work with the rental car department to prioritize and provide vehicle assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· 1 year(s) experience in a body shop or mechanic repair shop

· 2 years in customer service or related work

· Good communication, customer service, interpersonal, and computerskills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
