JTDMH is Hiring a Clinical Exercise Physiologist or RN - Cardiac Rehab/Wellness Center Near Saint Marys, OH

Job Description

Hours of Job

Part-time, 20 hours per week.
1st shift with varying start times of 5:45 a.m., 6:30 a.m.,7:30 a.m.,8:30 a.m.; or 10:00 a.m.
Weekends are every 7th Saturday, no holidays required at this time.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for the delivery of patient/client care through assessment, evaluation, planning, and plan implementation.
Completes assessments of patients/clients and documents appropriately.
Establishes and updates the patient/client files as necessary to maintain patient/client progression through their program.
Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in developing an Individualized Treatment Plan.

Requirements

Basic clinical skills in patient/client assessment, problem solving, and decision-making.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or have a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field with appropriate clinical hours.
Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio or ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (If certification is not current at the time of hire certification must be obtained within 6 months or within another time frame agreed upon by the area supervisor).

Experience

One year of experience including clinical rotation.
