We are looking for a team member to coordinate and supervise the daily, weekly and monthly activities of the department and ensure all activities are in accordance with company/customer/site requirements. The Supervisor, a key member of the Operations management team, is responsible for driving continuous improvement activities and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Essential Duties / Functions
· Establishes productivity expectations and tracks the production and activity of the mechanic/tech workforce. Supervises and schedules work daily for timely completion.
· Performs diagnoses to determine defects on equipment and timely repair.
· Source and negotiate best possible pricing along with being responsible for shop inventories (shop supplies and parts ordering).
· Providing on-call and emergency support service to customers and staff as required.
· Performing specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software and hardware support for existing regas and mobile fueling equipment.
· Maintenance and service of fueling stations, both fixed and mobile units.
· Develops and maintains files on all equipment docs; POs, ROs, VROs , PMs , and DOT documents. TMT or other maintenance software experience.
· Troubleshooting and/or maintenance of LNG storage tank(s), power generators, air compressor, relief valves, control valves, ESD, vaporizers, regulators, and safety systems.
· Exhibiting and enforcing safety procedures in hazmat environments.
· Establishes and monitors preventative maintenance schedules on all equipment.
· Ensures the maintenance shop is properly maintained, functional and clean.
· Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal equipment-shop related regulations. Hazardous waste disposal and tire management.
· Ability to read and interpret piping and tank detail from manuals and mechanical drawings and /or P&ID’s.
· Reviews daily inspection documents and repair orders for all equipment and to prioritizes repairs.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the direction of the company.
· Travel as required for business needs.
Experience and Requirements
Minimum two (2) years RECENT front-line supervisory experience in a Tanker or a cryogenic shop operation.
