Rego Park Counseling LLC, is dedicated to providing comprehensive health services to individuals dealing with mental health issues and substance use disorders. We are accredited by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) and the Office of Mental Health (OMH), committed to fostering a supportive and effective treatment environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about mental health and addiction care. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical services under the supervision of our healthcare team, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in a collaborative clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage patient care.
• Prescribe medications following New York State regulations and perform routine follow-up examinations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records compliant with OMH and OASAS regulations.
• Participate in continuous education and training to remain abreast of developments in mental health and addiction medicine.
• Documents notes in a timely matter

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York.
• Experience in psychiatric-mental health or addiction nursing preferred.
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
