Regions Security Services is Hiring an Armed Security Officer Near Fort Lauderdale, FL
Security Officer Job Responsibilities:
Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Security Officer Job Duties:
- Officer will be posted at a specific location and will deter any individual not permitted in the premises to enter the building.
- Secures premises by patrolling, monitoring and surveilling assigned area.
- Challenges anyone engaged in suspicious activity.
- Will report any irregularities and call law enforcement if needed.
- Completes incidents and shift reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Security Officer Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and be understood in the English language.
- Evidence have served at least 2 years in a responsible full-time security position.
- Access control of high-risk areas.
- Observe any suspicious activity and report incidents in detail.
- Must be able to legally carry firearm and gear while on duty.
- Must have or be able to obtain CPR certification.
- Must complete an advanced First Aid Course, be able to administer oxygen, and operate an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
- Must be able to successfully pass a physical exam.
Available Post:
- Armed Guard (Mon, Tue, Fri 8:30am-5pm & Sat 9am-4pm)
32.5 hrs/week
- Armed Guard (Wed, Thu, Fri 8:30am-5pm & Sat 9am-4pm)
32.5 hrs/week

Salary: $19/hr
