Under the direction of Operations Manager and in conjunction with the HPMT Medical Director, oversees the daily operations and directly supervises HPMT’s ambulance and wheelchair van staff. Responsible for onboarding EMT staff and coordinating their initial and ongoing training in a Field Training Officer (FTO) role. Reviews electronic patient care reports (ePCRs) on a daily basis providing immediate feedback to EMT staff on the clinical quality of care and documentation practices via the ImageTrend CQI tool. Is also responsible for maintaining the fleet of ambulances, wheelchair vans, and supply inventory, and arranges for routine maintenance and repairs with our approved vendors.

Due to recent expansion of services, HealthPartners Medical Transportation (HPMT) has several new exciting positions available. The Operations Supervisor position plays an important role on the HPMT Leadership Team providing work direction to our EMT Trainees, EMTs, and Lead EMTs in our wheelchair vans, ambulances, and Medical Transportation Coordination Center.
HPMT is open 365 days per year, including weekend and holidays. This is an exempt position, typically working Monday-Friday with occasional rounding on weekend and overnight shifts and potential on-call requirements.
