Regional Vascular & Vein Institute is Hiring a Prior Authorization Specialist (FT) Near Jackson, OH
- Verify patient eligibility and coverage for requested services.
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations.
- Collaborate with other team members, hospitals and offices to gather required documentation for submission, resolve open claims, and share payer information and status details.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of prior authorization forms.
- Maintain detailed records of authorization status and follow-up actions.
- Obtaining referrals from PCP to see patient when required by payer guidelines.
- Editing, compiling and sending out patient visit summaries to referring providers from EMR patient notes.
- Uploading patient documents, testing/images into EMR with meticulous attention to detail and ability to complete this task on a daily basis to keep up with documentation in a timely manner.
- Assisting with answering phones and other front desk duties when needed.
