This position is responsible for ensuring adequate stocking levels of parts and necessary supplies, monitoring inventory and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Supervises, plans, schedules and monitors employees for a 24 / 7 operation. This is a safety sensitive position subject to the rules of the RTD Drug and Alcohol Policy.
Duties & Responsibilities :
ESSENTIAL :
Recruits staff to include interviewing, hiring, assigning work, training, coaching, and counseling to ensure consistent application of Employee Guidelines, processes, and procedures.
Conducts performance reviews, and holds employees accountable for performance of their responsibilities.
Applies the provisions of the Labor Agreement in accordance with guidelines. Participates in the grievance procedures for vehicle maintenance related issues.
Reviews and recommends disciplinary actions which may involve termination of represented employees.
Assists with ensuring compliance of all Local, State and Federal regulations, including but, not limited to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Fire Department regulations, FMLA and ADA.
