Regional Missouri Bank Part Time Teller position:

Accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers. Promote and advise on the bank’s products and services.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and count working cash at beginning of shift
• Identify customers, validate and cash checks
• Accept cash and checks for deposit and check accuracy of deposits
• Process cash withdrawals
• Prepare cashier’s checks and personal money orders
• Perform services for customers such as ordering checks, debit cards and ATM cards
• Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures
• Balance currency, cash and checks in cash drawer at end of each business day
• Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings account and other bank related products
• Explain, advise on, and promote bank products and services to customers
• Ensure compliance with all established policies and procedures.
• Attempt to resolve issues and problems with customer’s accounts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School student, minimum age 16, working on High School diploma
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Cash handling
• Customer service experience preferred
• Relevant Computer skills

HOURS

• This position will be as needed with no guaranteed hours
• Monday – Thursday
  • 7:45 am to 4:15 pm
• Friday
  • 7:45 am to 5:00 pm
• Saturday
  • 8:30 am to 12:15 pm

Pay Status

• Non-Exempt hourly status
