Registered Nurse

Regional Medical Oncology Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to become a part of our organization. The Registered Nurse will join a team of Oncology RNs in the infusion center, work with physicians and other staff of Regional Medical Oncology Center in the care for patients with oncology, hematology, and other diseases. The job of an RN requires compassion and a personal commitment in treating patients suffering from a variety of chronic illnesses.

Job Responsibilities:

The Infusion Center RN will administer injections including oncology and hematology. Administer all types of infusions for oncology and hematology. Help manage oral chemotherapy patients. Assist with prior authorizations for medical treatments. Start IV’s and access ports.

Qualifications:

· 2 years working in an Infusion Center preferred

· Current Registered Nurse certification

· BLS Certification

· Demonstrated compassionate care for patients and staff

· Able to work independently and as a team

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
