Leads work of others. Operates a switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls. Trains and guides other switchboard operators on daily activities. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. High school diploma or equivalent with at lease one year experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
