Shifts: 7 am - 3:30 pm, 3 pm - 11:30 pm, 11pm - 7:30am
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Assist with activities of daily living for patients with developmental disabilities
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Perform basic life support procedures when necessary
- Assist with specialized procedures such as Botox injections and ophthalmology treatments
- Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Provide senior care services, including assistance with mobility and personal hygiene
Skills:
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and equipment
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Experience administering Botox injections (preferred)
- Competence in venipuncture and specimen collection processing
- Understanding of senior care principles and practices
- Ability to administer inhaled medications
