POSITION SUMMARY
Regents School of Austin is a place of challenge, joy, service, and community preparing students to thrive in life. Our beautiful 82-acres in southwest Austin, Texas provide a tremendous setting for a Classical, Christian K-12 experience for over 1,000 students, combining robust academics with Athletics and Fine Arts that are central to the whole student experience.
The Communications Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Advancement to develop and implement a broad, comprehensive, and strategic marketing and branding plan designed to promote Regents School of Austin.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategic communications that engage internal and external constituents in the support and promotion of the school.
Oversee the production and design of a variety of materials meant to inform the school’s community.
Work across all departments, including Athletics and Fine Arts, to effectively publicize school activities and successes.
Collaborate with the Admissions and Development teams to develop strategies to recruit prospective students and engage committed alumni and families.
Create and direct a comprehensive publications program (concept, design, content, editorial, and production for paper and electronic communications) that reaches and influences the school’s target audiences.
Shape and maintain the strategic and creative direction of the school’s website.
Develop and manage an integrated online presence on social media platforms.
Cultivate and maintain working relationships between the school and the media as well as other key community organizations; create and maintain an official point of contact for public information.
Identify emerging marketing opportunities, design effective targeting strategies, and report on results.
Perform other duties as assigned by and in support of the Director of Advancement.
