Job Summary

The Admissions Evaluator is responsible for the real-time analysis of completed applicant files for review of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral applications to make decisions. This position works closely with the Admissions Counselors, Enrollment Support Services Associates, Directors and Faculty in a supportive, proactive and professional manner. Essential duties will include:

  • Acquire and maintain a knowledge of Regent University and all programs, financial aid and scholarships, transcript and credit evaluation policies, and student advising.
  • Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators for each session & semester intake. 
  • Review and evaluate application files for admissions decisions or for the recommendation of admissions decisions to Associate Directors.
  • Maintain expert knowledge in Banner, phone/chat system, Ellucian and other programs for applicant management. 
  • Maintain working knowledge on programmatic content, helpful faculty feedback and other tactics to assist with phone calls and application completion.
  • Increase overall productivity by increasing inquiry to enrollment conversion and increasing application to enrollment percentage. 
  • Maintain fast-paced & thorough review of submitted admissions documents for chosen degree programs or schools within Regent University. 
  • Maintain accurate data records throughout the admissions and enrollment process in applicable systems, and report problems or issues with software or procedures that inhibit ability to successfully complete job functions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Proven track record with excellent customer service
  • Two to three years sales experience or previous college admissions experience 
  • Ability to meet and exceed goals in a production driven environment
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and occasional weekends
