We are seeking a Sourcing Manager to be responsible to support and assist in the development of Regeneron’s expansion markets strategy by gathering the business unit supply needs and specifications for all commercial areas in support of market expansion and commercialization services. They work collaboratively with the Global Procurement team and business unit partners in both local market and headquarters to commercially & competitively assess the local supply base’s capabilities and qualifications for Regeneron’s interests.

A typical day might include:

• Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the global Commercial – Marketing and/or Medical Affairs Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.
• Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities for the Commercial – Marketing and/or Medical Affairs Category as assigned.
• Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization.
• Leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
• Manages category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
• May either directly or through a matrix structure, manages teams of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable.)

This role may be for you if you have:

• Experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
• Used external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.
• Experience managing associate level professionals preferred.
• Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)

This role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma. The ideal candidate will need demonstrated success working effectively with cross-functional teams to get results in Commercial – Marketing and/or Medical Affairs categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management. This role requires being in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
