The Refrigeration Supervisor at Regeneron is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our refrigeration systems. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all refrigeration equipment, supervising maintenance and repair activities, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in refrigeration systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The Refrigeration Supervisor will play a key role in supporting our operations and contributing to our mission of delivering life-transforming medicines for serious diseases.

A typical day might include:

• Verification of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation at multiple site locations.
• Supervise and direct Refrigeration specialists and contractors at multiple locations.
• Facilities liaison to occupants, contractors, reps, distributors & OEM.
• Responsible for ensuring that the team is maintaining all Regeneron owned and serviced Refrigeration systems including controls, refrigeration equipment, daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly, semiannual & annual inspections, equipment inventory control, equipment lists & locations of primary and supplemental Refrigeration systems.
• Responsible for maintaining company refrigeration equipment type standard
• Responsible for ensuring the repair, rebuild, and/or recondition Refrigeration equipment including all low temp and ultralow temperature refrigeration equipment and/or oversee & approve such work when required.
• Responds to Refrigeration alarms, addressing controls & monitoring issues, programming, servicing as required, install and programs wireless Wi-Fi transmitters to the network.
• Responsible for ordering parts and keeping records of all parts ordered and installed.
• Develop and implement Refrigeration preventative maintenance procedures and schedules including filter cleaning and replacement, fan motor service, replacement of worn or broken parts etc.
• On call 24/7 for emergency response.

• Advanced knowledge of commercial and industrial Refrigeration systems.
• Highly skilled in Refrigeration applications administration and operations.
• Knowledgeable in construction and building trade methods including as they relate to Refrigeration.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, outlook, power point), SharePoint, etc.
• Valid driver’s license recognized by New York State.
