Salary: $21-$23 Based on Experience

We are seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to join our team and contribute to the restoration and reconstruction of properties affected by water damage, fire damage, mold infestation, and other disasters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of restoration techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role involves working in various environments, often under challenging conditions, to restore properties to their pre-loss condition efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform on-site evaluations to assess the extent of damage and develop restoration plans accordingly.
  2. Execute restoration projects according to industry standards and company protocols.
  3. Conduct water extraction, drying, and dehumidification procedures to mitigate water damage.
  4. Remove and dispose of damaged materials, including drywall, flooring, and insulation, in compliance with safety regulations.
  5. Clean and disinfect affected areas to prevent mold growth and ensure a safe environment.
  6. Utilize specialized equipment, such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters, to facilitate the restoration process.
  7. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders throughout the restoration process.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper handling procedures for hazardous materials.
  10. Document all restoration activities, including job progress, materials used, and any additional services provided, for accurate record-keeping and billing purposes.
  11. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a restoration technician or a similar role in the restoration industry.
  2. Thorough knowledge of restoration techniques, equipment, and materials.
  3. Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards, including IICRC certification preferred.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations quickly.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  6. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated heights, as needed.
  7. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by project demands.
  9. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
  10. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in restoration or related fields are a plus.
  11. Must lift heavy items up to 50-75lbs or more on a routine basis.
  12. Employee must be medically cleared to wear a respirator once hired.
  13. Employee may be required to climb ladders and work in high places.
  14. Employee willing or has been fully immunized for HEP B and Tetanus vaccinations.
