Position: Assistant Director of Nursing Location: RegalCare @ Holyoke, Massachusetts

RegalCare @ Holyoke is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Participate in staff development and training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of nursing personnel.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and monitor their health status, coordinating with healthcare providers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to nursing care and resident assessments.
• Promote a culture of excellence in nursing practice and customer service.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing care in long-term care settings.
