Summary: The MHE Trainer works with operations managers, area managers, production assistants, and associates to execute and track the site’s Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Training Program. The MHE Trainer constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which they are assigned. The overall objective of this role is to provide hourly associates and managers with MHE training.

• Certified to operate each piece of MHE equipment that the site uses
• Support the MHE training needs of the Building
• Coordinate all MHE Training activities including re-certifications
• Execute all standard tasks as outlined on site’s MHE Trainer Standard Work Checklist
• Effectively executes network standard training program
• Audits the execution of MHE training delivery
• Provide ongoing support and coaching to the MHE Operators
• Partner with Operations and Safety to ensure network standard training materials are accurate to facility standards
• Maintain site’s MHE training records and documentation
• Partner with site’s Safety Team to ensure Local compliance

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• MHE license for a minimum of 3 - 6 months and operated for a minimum of 250 hours during this period
• Good communication skills
• Work with standards and training materials
• Valid driving license
• Organization skills (able to handle multiple and changing priorities)
• Experience delivering MHE training/information to peers, hourly associates, and senior management, both individually and in groups is preferred
• Willingness to work different shifts and different areas is preferred
• Give and receive feedback effectively is preferred
• Adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing direction is preferred
