Refresco Group is Hiring a Parts Coordinator Near Tempe, AZ
- Submit RFQs to vendor; work with Engineer on all parts orders in accordance with weekly budget; use PMC and Parts Requisition forms to document all POs and submit PO’s to Purchasing Agent Strong leadership capabilities in a fast-paced production environment required.
- Receive all parts in accordance to SOP’s; organize the shop in accordance with 5S principles
- Executive all areas of the parts handling process and introduce processes to improve towards goal of inventory accuracy; perform training as necessary for processes for maintenance team
- Perform weekly inventory checks on parts and other areas (chemicals, etc.); ensure shop is up to all safety standards and hazardous items are properly contained
- Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office, emails, electronic inventory system)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible scheduling
- Basic working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Must be able to read and comprehend manufacturers technical instructions, drawings and data
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and clean up after each and every task
- Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Possesses understanding of OSHA rules & regulations; Uses equipment and materials properly and ensures proper attire is worn by staff; Reports potentially unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience required.
- Previous experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, & Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required. SAP experience is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on concrete surface.
- Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, climb and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties.
- Successful completion of a post offer drug screen and background check required.
