- Repair and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment and motor vehicles while adhering to all company safety policies.
- Proper completion of any required paperwork/records regarding repairs to equipment and vehicles on a timely basis.
- Must be able to carry out detailed instructions, take directions to job sites.
- Must be able to use good judgement in decision-making and be able to work with or without direct supervision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one yearrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Special certificates are required in order to work on air brakes or to be qualified to replace coolant in air conditioning systems.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanics must supply their own tools.
- Must actively abide by the company's safety policies and procedures.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license with a clear MVR.
