Responsibilities:

As a Land Planner at Reeve & Associates, you will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to drive the planning and design of various land development projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Site Analysis and Research: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of project sites, including environmental factors, zoning regulations, land use policies, and community needs. Identify opportunities and constraints to inform land development strategies.
  2. Master Planning: Develop master plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects that integrate functional design, sustainability, and community engagement. Create conceptual site plans, land use diagrams, and design guidelines.
  3. Land Use and Zoning Approvals: Prepare and submit applications for land use changes, rezoning, and special permits. Collaborate with government agencies, community stakeholders, and project teams to navigate the approval process and ensure compliance with regulations.
  4. Urban Design: Contribute to the creation of vibrant and livable urban environments through the design of public spaces, streetscapes, and open areas. Integrate landscape architecture, transportation planning, and sustainable design principles into the planning process.
  5. Client Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision, and translating it into actionable plans. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to achieve integrated and cohesive project outcomes.
  6. Project Management: Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and progress tracking. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  7. Community Engagement: Facilitate public participation processes, engaging stakeholders and community members in meaningful discussions and workshops. Incorporate public feedback into the planning and design process to create inclusive and responsive projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in land planning, urban design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning codes, and planning principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
