stro Plastics in Rosemount, MN is looking to add additional, permanent Machine Operators (Extrusion Operators) to its growing third shift production team.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Operates extrusion line, including fabrication and auxiliary equipment for single, dual, and triple extrusions
- Fills hoppers with specified materials and maintains clean work area
- Performs quality control checks
- Operates grinder and off-line fabrication equipment
- Packages product according to customer specifications
- Moves materials and finished product within warehouse
Shift hours: 3rd shift = Monday - Friday 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
The training period for this position may take place on first shift (Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) However, if you are unable to work these hours, accommodations will be made.
Pay Rate: $27.59 / hour, plus $.70 / hour shift differential.
Benefits: Vacation and 11 paid holidays, 401(k) Plan (Company contributes 3.5% regardless of whether employee contributes), excellent medical insurance, dental insurance, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance.
Skills Required: Strong mechanical ability and math skills; ability to use measuring instruments and operate hand tools and warehouse equipment; solid attendance record.
Experience Required: 2-3 years machine operating or mechanic experience
