Job Summary
The Calibration Technician will work on tasks directed to them by the Calibration Supervisor and/or Production Manager. This position will report to the headquarters office. This employee is hand on with different products throughout the day ensuring proper maintenance, calibration measurement is taken, and configurations are completed for them to operate correctly.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
· Calibrate adjust and/ or repair of electronic measurement equipment
· Perform configurations of calibration equipment
· Plan calibration test per procedure
· Perform calibrations
· Generate, sign and file/store certificates
· Update/Upgrade software, components and product modifications using schematics, diagnostic tools and procedures etc.
· Meet weekly deadlines and process orders within allocated time to meet strict customer timelines
· Plan and perform calibrations per procedure, evaluate results, generate sign and file certificates.
· Be able to generate and process data collection method for statistical analysis
· Review and update computer system and /or documentation for proper record keeping, tracking equipment, maintaining calibration status and other relevant information.
· Maintaining stock of parts in his/her designated area/ department
· Duties may also require visits to customer facilities and lifting to 50lbs.
Job Requirements and Experiences
· Metrology experience (PMEL Preferred) 3 years minimum.
· Familiar and experience with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, ASTM, ANSI and similar quality standards/protocols/procedures
· Familiar and experience working with manufacturing equipment: Agilent, HP, Tektronix, Fluke, Keysight, etc.
· Driver’s License USA
· The position requires basic math, algebra, geometry, calculus, physics knowledge and mathematical unit conversions.
· Must be able to read, write and understand English
· Proficient using MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Good Verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
