JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reel Security is looking for Security Managers for TV and Film production. As a leader of the Global Security Team, you will oversee a team of security professionals that support all aspects of production. Your job will involve creating solutions to complex challenges such as physical security, confidentiality, talent protection, and content protection. You will also liaise with local law enforcement, vet security firms, and protect executives.

Candidates are REQUIRED to have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Security/Law Enforcement Experience-(Required)

• Minimum 3 years of TV/Film Production Experience (Required)

• Minimum 1 year of Supervisory Experience (Required)

• A history of lawful conduct (Background check prior to hire)

• Strong Leadership Skills including team development and recruitment

• Proficient in risk assessments, creating security plans, and proactive security prevention

• Experienced in incident management, reporting, response and mitigation

• Skilled at cross-functional work and influencing business and security partners

• Ability to innovate and adapt security solutions for creative vision

• Effective at leading multiple projects simultaneously

• High levels of integrity and attention to detail

• Excellent at cultivating and maintaining internal and external relationships to stay current with industry standards

• Ability to simplify complex tasks and situations into executable procedures

• High standards of integrity and honesty

• Reliable transportation and Valid Driver’s License (Required)

Experience/Preferred Skill Set:

• Experience in security for TV/Film production and content protection

• Familiarity with network/studio executives, producers, talent representatives, security vendors, casts and creative teams.

• Background in law enforcement or government agency security

• Ability to assess and audit confidentiality and security during pre-production, on-location production and events

• Capability to create sustainable protection strategies based on site-specific variables

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Detail Oriented

• Must be a Top Tier Professional

• Basic knowledge of technical applications

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service

• Public service oriented, with effective communication skills

• Must have discretionary skills

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure high standard, professional security service across global production and live event slate based on risk level

• Utilize international experience to improve production security assessment and collaborate with internal and external partners for timely threat and risk evaluations

• Develop and direct status updates, tracking and coordination of projects, incidents, and escalation notifications for leadership

• Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to design and develop physical security asset protection standards

• Identify technology solutions to support production security requirements

• Communicate and deliver safety and asset protection plans

• Oversee multiple production security teams for continuous improvement and excellent customer service
