Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach
Must possess a bachelors degree in an accredited exercise science, health science,or physical education-related discipline. Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience. Demonstrate sustained experience working with elite athlete populations ishighly desired. Preferred experience includes working with Special Operation Forces(SOF) specific performance programs and developing sport/mission specificperformance programs resulting in attributable results with elite athletes (i.e. DivisionI collegiate, Olympic, professional level athletes or military combat professionals). Possess and maintain current certification by the National Strength andConditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist(CSCS). Maintenance of this certification shall be an enduring element of therequirement. Possess oral and written communication skills to meaningfully interact withpeers, outside agencies, vendors, providers, and Military Health System (MHS)stakeholders to exchange information, provide briefings, presentations, participate inresearch, and develop metrics to demonstrate or advance effective and efficientaircrew neck and back pain prevention.Skill in effective team dynamics to facilitate the exchange of information/education,enhance goal achievement and identify change in system or policy at any level.
