RAMC has anAMAZING opportunity for anyone who is interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). We will be soon implementing an on-site CNA training program! This program will allow individuals to receive PAID CNA training while working for the organization. One year commitment to the organization is required.
It is likely that training will be held 2-3 days per week from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Financial assistance for employees in the program who are ready to take their CNA test will be provided as well! Once you've graduated with your CNA certificate, you'll be ready to work at our organization as a CNA. How easy is that?! Once graduated from this class you would be working the following position:
This class will begin on June 10th, 2024.
Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct nursing care and delivers assigned delegated aspects of care for residents. The CNA adjusts resident care to facilitate good communication with family, residents, and other health team members to best meet and encourage the expression of needs from all involved in resident care. The CNA organizes the aspects of care which he/she is accountable for to the best of their ability and supports the charge nurse to efficiently take care of resident needs.
NOTE: The CNA In Training employee has completed the Certified Nursing Assistant training course, is within 120 days of starting the course, waiting to test out. In the event does not successfully pass the written and skills test within the 120 days of starting the course, they will revert to Aide Angel status until such time as passing testing and on the State/Federal registry as a certified nursing assistant.
