Responsibilities

• Answering/Calling clients
• Scheduling appointments surgeries
• Answering basic pet care questions
• Sending/obtaining records
• Checking general/prescription request voicemail
• Placing calls on hold and answering promptly
• Triaging emergencies
• Checking out clients
• Entering proper charges
• Going over the invoice
• Taking Payments promptly
• Preparing medication/Written Prescriptions
• Labeling/dispensing prescriptions properly
• Preparing written prescriptions
• Going over medication instructions w/ client
• Providing information on medication side effects
• Filing/Preparing paperwork
• Scanning and attaching records/ new client forms
• Scanning lab work and leaving it on the doctors desk
• Preparing proper paperwork for surgical procedures
• Checking emails responding promptly and accordingly
• Preparing/Submitting insurance claims

Requirements

• Prior veterinary knowledge
• Communication skills
• Being able to multitask
• Being able to keep composer under stressful situations
• Being able to keep up with a fast paced/high volume office setting
• Proper phone etiquette

We are currently looking for work availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
