Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, staff supervision, and overall store efficiency.

Duties:

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Supervise and train staff members to uphold store standards
- Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking products
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently
- Handle cash register duties accurately
- Assist in shift management and scheduling
- Perform clerical tasks such as pricing and labeling products

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery store setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Multilingual skills are a plus for diverse customer interactions
- Experience in training development for staff improvement
