Program Supervisor 

One (1) Full-time/Exempt Salary Range $65,520.00 - $74,256.00 Annually DOE ( ) Plus Additional Program Differential - STRTP Differential $2.00/per hour

Pay differentials offered - must qualifying through testing or verification for the following special competencies.

*Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish ($1.00 per hour)

*Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language - Interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to English, and English to ASL. ($1.00 per hour) 

Supervises the Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) residential staff, operations, work and schedules of the Children’s Residential staff, to ensure the integrity of the program by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned. Provides direct supervision and care for children in a group home setting, and supervision of the childcare staff, and ensures adequate staffing at all times. Ensures the safety of residents through direct supervision commensurate with the residential program’s supervision levels and current resident functioning in accordance with standards and procedures. In collaboration with Program Director and other STRTP Supervisor, is responsible for hiring, termination, orientation, in-service training and regular ongoing supervision, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills. Maintains a highly structured, safe and secure residential environment for the care and supervision of children assigned to the facility; and maintains the facility’s operating records and files. Maintains compliance with budgetary plans. Develops, implements and maintains systems that establish a productive working environment. To be the primary supervisor for up to 12 staff working in the residential facility. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the residential program. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.; A bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related mental health/human services field and/or 4 years’ experience and be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program and/or experience providing human services, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have skills necessary to engage and work with others from diverse backgrounds, maintain a non-judgmental attitude toward youth and families, maintain required licenses and certifications to perform role. Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays. On-call rotation for afterhours support. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CA Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Clean DMV Printout, clear background check w/DOJ, CAC, FBI, CPR and First Aid Certified. TB Test and Physical at the time of employment.

Employment in the Behavioral Health Services require proof of Covid-19 vaccination per California Public Health Officer. All RCS employees are required to either have documented proof of full COVID-19 vaccination on file, or consent to weekly COVID-19 testing.
